Mind and Disposition.

Restlessness, which does not allow one to remain quiet in one place, walks about constantly, with dyspnoea and short breathing.

Head.

Heaviness of the head, also with vertigo.

Pressing in the head, as if the brain were pressed out through the skull with a plug.

Stitches in the scalp.

Eyes.

[5] Pain in the right eye as if it were torn asunder.

Itching in the corners of the eyes and in the edges of the lids.

Ears.

Pain as if pressed out in the right ear.

Nose.

Pain as from pressing asunder above the nasal bones.

Mouth and Throat.

Burning of the tongue as if scalded.

Stomach and Abdomen.

[10] Sensation of repletion in the stomach ; a very mall quantity of food satisfies the appetite.

Sensation of fulness in the pit of the stomach, as after a full meal, or as from overlifting, with shortness of breathing.

Ascites, with loss of appetite, scanty urine, hard, knotty stool, which is difficult to pass.

Incarcerated flatulency (on the bladder, with spasms, compelling one to walk stooped).

Pain in the right inguinal region as if hernia would produce.

Stool and Anus.

[15] Stool hard, difficult to expel, in small pieces, with stitches in the rectum.

Diarrhoea with nausea, feces consisting of mucus, with burning in the rectum as from a wound.

Urinary Organs.

Tenesmus vesicae.

Strangury ; continuous urging to urinate, with burning-biting in the bladder and urethra ; when the effort is made to urinate, burning in the urethra, so that one must bend double without being able to urinate.

Urgent desire to urinate ; the urine only reaches the glans penis and causes there violent pains and spasms, also with tenesmus in the rectum ; the pain in the bladder is momentarily relieved as soon as the urine descends in the urethra.

[20] Scanty secretion of urine, brown ; must always press a long time before passing any urine, and then in a feeble stream.

Spasms in the bladder, disturbing the sleep at night ; burning in the sphincter vesicae.

In the, urethra burning-biting ; great soreness, so that he can not touch it.

Sexual Organs.

Men. The prepuce is drawn behind the corona glandis, the penis becoming smaller.

Women. Tickling, itching in the region of the ovaries, not relieved by scratching and rubbing.

[25] Menstruation too early, with violent pain in the small of the back.

Metrorrhagia of thin pale blood, becoming more watery the longer it lasts.

Leucorrhoea, excoriating, coloring the linen yellow.

Respiratory Organs.

Breathing difficult, caused by a sensation of heaviness in the lower part of the thorax.

Back.

Back and small of the back feel stiff as from overlifting.

[30] Stitches between the shoulder-blades on drawing a long breath.

Pain in the small of the back when sitting.

Extremities.

Upper. Pressure on the right shoulder, extending to the deltoid muscle, preventing one from raising the arm.

Sensation as if sprained in the right thumb, hindering one from writing ; cannot bold the pen.

Lower. Pain in the hip, worse in the forenoon, and free from it after midnight.

[35] Pain in the first joint of the big toe, as if it were pulled out.

Restlessness in the legs, has to change the position continually.

Fever.

Chilliness in the evening must go to bed, is inclined to stretch himself.

Dry heat over the whole body, with pain in the corona glandis and redness of the prepuce ; burning on the genitals, relieved by perspiration, and ceasing when going to bed.

Perspiration during sleep, only in the face.
